A hazard ahead will require you to slow down. How should you warn following drivers?
Correct answer: A – Tap the brake pedal lightly to flash the brake lights
A large commercial vehicle may block following drivers’ view of a hazard. Lightly tapping the brake pedal flashes the brake lights and warns them that you will need to slow. Four-way flashers are used when the vehicle is traveling very slowly or is stopped.
