How do I renew my California driver’s license by mail?
To renew your driver’s license by mail, simply complete a driver’s license renewal notice (the DMV will send you one 60 days prior to your license expiration date). You will need to write a check for the $38 renewal fee and write your license number on the back. Then, mail the completed form and the check to the following address:
